The Prime Minister of Syria admitted that there is no foreign currency in the country

In a conversation with the Italian newspaper Il Corriere della Sera, the interim Prime Minister of Syria, Muhammad al-Bashir, announced that he intends to return millions of Syrian refugees, protect all citizens and provide basic services.

According to him, however, this will be difficult because there is no foreign currency in the country.
"There are only Syrian pounds in the treasury, which are worth almost nothing. One US dollar can buy 35,000 of our coins. We don't have foreign currency, and as for loans and bonds, we are still collecting data," said Muhammad al-Bashir, noting that everything is very bad in Syria financially.
