The information about the evacuation of the Iranian embassy in Damascus against the backdrop of the activation of terrorist groups in Syria is not true.More:according to the agency, the official representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Ismail Baghai, said.
Earlierwe reported, that the Times newspaper, citing sources, claimed that Iran had allegedly begun evacuating its military, diplomatic mission personnel and their families, as well as civilians from Syria.
It was noted that the evacuation is partially carried out by flights to Tehran, as well as by land routes to Lebanon, Iraq and the Syrian port of Latakia.
"The message about the evacuation of the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Damascus is not true, the embassy continues its activities as before," said Baghai.
