Kazakhstan will deliver more than 1 ton of oil to Germany by the end of the year


Kazakhstan will deliver more than 1 ton of oil to Germany by the end of the year, according to the Kazakh oil and gas company KazMunayGas. It is noted that during the 5 months of this year, Kazakhstan supplied Germany with about 500,000 tons of oil. On June 14, KazMunayGas Board Chairman Askhat Khasenov met with Karachaganak Petroleum Chief Operating Officer Marco Marsili in Astana. The interlocutors discussed the Karachaganak field. the current state of the gas processing plant construction project with a capacity of 4.5 billion cubic meters of raw gas per year. The subject of Karachaganak oil exports was also touched on, based on the growing demand for Kazakh hydrocarbons in Western Europe. Last year, about 1 million tons of oil from Karachaganak was delivered to Germany for the first time through the transport systems of KazTransOil and Transneft.
