A Palestinian Red Crescent volunteer was killed in the Gaza Strip. This is reported by the Qatari Al Jazeera TV channel.

The medical technician died near the city of Khan Yunis in the south of the enclave from a shot in the chest while returning from the Red Crescent Field Hospital in Rafah.
