Hovik Aghazaryan organized leaks containing state secrets. Hayk Konjoryan

The head of the "Civil Agreement" faction, Hayk Konjoryan, revealed in a conversation with journalists in the National Assembly that it was found out that Hovik Aghazaryan organized leaks of information from faction meetings and other internal discussions, including topics related to state security, which were not subject to publication. According to Konjoryan, they became one of the grounds for Aghazaryan's removal from the faction.

"I will not mention examples, but at least some of them are in the press, a significant part of this information is classified. I don't have the right to report, I see that there is a need to do an analysis, including by law enforcement officers. He did not deny them during the session of the board," he said.

He noted that Aghazaryan did not leak this information during interviews. "Proceedings of various cases were initiated, where Aghazaryan's name was touched, when actions were carried out within the framework of those proceedings, they also came out based on that information."

According to him, the discussion regarding Hovik Aghazaryan would take place even if the latter announced that he would resign the mandate. Referring to the fact that Aghazaryan announces that he is being suppressed, Konjoryan remarked: "If the government suppressed Aghazaryan, he would have given up his mandate."

Konjoryan gave a positive answer to the question of whether he would resign if the Prime Minister of Armenia asked him to do the same.
