Israel announced that the ceasefire with "Hezbollah" was violated. Hours before Israel's announcement, Lebanese security forces announced that Israeli tanks had struck six districts in the south of Lebanon. This was reported by the Reuters agency.
On November 27, the cease-fire reached between Israel and the Lebanese "Hezbollah" through the mediation of the USA and France entered into force, which should allow the population of the border regions of the two countries to return to their homes after almost 14 months of military operations.
The Israeli military announced that the ceasefire was violated when some "suspects", some in vehicles, reached a number of regions in southern Lebanon. "Hezbollah" lawmaker Hassan Fadlallah accused Israel of attacking the residents returning to the southern villages of Lebanon. Earlier, the Israeli army urged the residents of the border regions not to return due to their own safety.
According to Lebanese state media and sources in the security forces, on the morning of November 28, an Israeli tank hit the settlements of Markaba, Wazani, Kfarchouba, Khiyam, Taibe and the agricultural plains around Marjayoun. Two people were injured in Markaba. All these regions are located 2 km from the "Blue Line" demarcating the border between Lebanon and Israel.
