The Collective Security Treaty Organization has completed the development of a plan to strengthen the border between Tajikistan and Afghanistan. This was announced by the President of Kazakhstan Kasim-Zhomart Tokayev at the expanded session of the CSTO summit in Astana.
"During the presidency of Kazakhstan, the borders on the CSTO target interstate program aimed at strengthening the Tajik-Afghan border were completed," he said.
Tokayev noted that all the priorities of Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the CSTO are being "systematically and gradually implemented".
"With the support of our partners and friends, we will continue active work in the direction of their further promotion within CSTO," said the President of Kazakhstan.
