Iran called the Lebanese ceasefire agreement humiliating for Israel

Israel's agreement to sign a cease-fire in Lebanon only proves that the Jewish state has accepted its defeat in the conflict with the Lebanese Shia movement "Hezbollah", said the commander of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC, the elite units of the Armed Forces), Hossein Salami.

"The cease-fire on the Lebanese front is for the Zionist regime nothing more than a strategic and humiliating defeat in the war against Hezbollah, it did not even come close to achieving its goals and satisfying its diabolical desires."

This ceasefire may even be a prelude to a ceasefire and the end of the war in Gaza," Salami wrote in his message to the Secretary General of the Lebanese Movement, Sheikh Naim Ghasem.

Salami congratulated Qassem on the ceasefire, which he called "a great victory achieved thanks to the courage and bravery of the Lebanese" and noted the courage of Hezbollah fighters in the confrontation with Israel.
