Israel will try to appeal the arrest warrants issued by the International Criminal Court against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Galant, the Prime Minister's Office said.
"Today, Israel submitted a statement about its intention to appeal the decision of the ICJ. In this regard, Israel demands a temporary suspension of the execution of the arrest warrants," the statement said.
Israel considers the issuance of an arrest warrant by the ICC against Netanyahu and Galant illegal.
