Kazakh fighter jets painted the sky over Astana in the colors of the Russian tricolor on the occasion of the state visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Footage of preparations for the ceremonial meeting of the Russian head of state at the airport was published on the Kremlin’s Telegram channel.
A company of honor guard lined up along the runway of Astana airport, and six fighter jets painted the sky over the capital of Kazakhstan white, blue and red. Putin, at the invitation of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, will pay a state visit to the country on November 27-28.
