At the request of Armenia, the EAEU summit will be held on the territory of Russia

The session of the Eurasian Economic Council will take place in St. Petersburg at the request of Armenia, the Russian President's assistant, Yuri Ushakov, announced this during the briefing.

"At the request of the Armenian side, the session was organized on the territory of Russia, although the session will be chaired by the RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The invitations have been sent," he said.

At the same time, Ushakov confirmed that Armenia will not participate in the CSTO summit to be held in Astana on November 28, but Yerevan warned that it is not against the adoption of documents agreed at the session.
