Britain is now directly involved in the war

Russian Ambassador to Great Britain Andrei Kelin gave an interview to the British television channel Sky News, in which he commented on reports that London has allowed Kyiv to use Storm Shadow cruise missiles against targets on recognized Russian territory.

When asked whether such a resolution would drag Britain into war, the ambassador answered in the affirmative. “This is how,” Kälin said in English, “Britain and the United Kingdom are now directly involved in this war, since such [missile] launches cannot take place without NATO personnel, and British ones too.”

Kelin's words overlap in meaning with many statements by Russian President Vladimir Putin. Thus, on September 12, Putin warned that the use of long-range precision weapons by Ukraine is impossible without the direct participation of NATO military personnel, so if such weapons are used, “this will mean that NATO countries, the United States, and European countries are at war with Russia.” .
