Peace in the South Caucasus is "closer than ever" today, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said during a speech at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.
He called on Azerbaijan and Armenia not to miss this historic opportunity. "Undoubtedly, it is based on the liberation of its territories from occupation by Azerbaijan. We maintain bilateral relations with Azerbaijan at the highest level and make joint efforts to solve many international issues. We welcome Armenia's choice in favor of peace and stability and call on both countries not to miss this historic opportunity."
