The agreement with Israel depends on the cessation of aggression against Lebanon. Hezbollah

The cessation of aggression against Lebanon and respect for its sovereignty is a condition for concluding a cease-fire agreement with Israel. This was announced by Sheikh Naim Qassem, the general secretary of the Shia movement "Hezbollah", in a TV message broadcast on the "Al Jadeed" TV channel.

"We received the negotiation document, carefully read it and expressed our comments on it, our response was presented to the American envoy. "Whether it will lead to a ceasefire depends on Israel's response, because any agreement with it depends on two conditions: cessation of aggression and respect for Lebanon's sovereignty," said the Shiite politician.

According to Qassem, the Shiite fighters will continue to fight until Israel stops military operations.

"The resistance will attack the enemy, regardless of whether the negotiations succeed or not," the politician said.

He reminded that "Hezbollah" previously agreed to the American-French initiative of a 60-day ceasefire, but in response, Israel killed the former leader of the movement, Sheikh Hassan Nasrullah, on September 27.

"We have two options: either fight or surrender," Kasem emphasized.

At the same time, he warned that Shiite fighters "will hit the center of Tel Aviv in response to every bombing in Beirut."

Kasem confirmed that "Hezbollah" will rebuild the destroyed settlements and cities in the south of the country with the help of friendly countries. He assured the affected population that "the whole of Lebanon will become even more beautiful and better."

The General Secretary also announced that the Shiite movement "will make an effective contribution to the election of the new president of the republic."
