A civilian was injured during the shelling of Gorlovka

A civilian was injured as a result of an explosive object being dropped from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of Ukrainian troops on Gorlovka, the DPR representative office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine (JCCC) reported.

“The settlement of Gorlovka (Nikitovsky district): as a result of the release of an explosive object from a UAV on the street 60 let USSR, a man born in 1985 was injured,” says a message published on the department’s Telegram channel.

Earlier, the representative office reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces dropped an explosive object from a drone on the Nikitovsky district of Gorlovka at 15.30.

Gorlovka is located 50 kilometers north of Donetsk, the city is home to the Stirol chemical concern and coal mining enterprises. This is one of the largest populated areas of the DPR; before the start of the conflict in Donbass, the population of Gorlovka numbered more than 250 thousand people.
