As for the cases of hospitalization, according to the observation of the head of the Department of Epidemiology of Infectious and Non-Infectious Diseases of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention, there is a decrease from 400 patients to 512 in the previous week. In this case, minors are also the target group. Preventive measures are implemented in schools and/or kindergartens. Abovyan assured.

"The number of people hospitalized with pneumonia has increased by 1.1 times," he emphasized.

Referring to the cases of possible outbreak of the coronavirus, he mentioned that in the last 2 weeks, 53 cases of infection with the coronavirus were registered, which decreased by 23 compared to last year.

"The indicators of this analysis are carried out as a result of application, many people do not go to the doctor, because they take it relatively easier," said Abovyan and once again emphasized that there is no epidemic of acute respiratory infections in our country.

Romella Abovyan, Head of the Department of Epidemiology of Infectious and Non-infectious Diseases of the RA Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, advises one thing: not to engage in self-medication, in particular, not to use antibiotics without a doctor's prescription.
