On September 9, an emergency occurred in Ararat region. At around 08:40, the Artashat department of the Community Police Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia received information that 38-year-old Garik H., a resident of Ararat region, reported that he had shot himself in the leg with a rifle while hunting in the area called "Heranos" in the Garni settlement, as a result of which he was transferred to the "Artashat" medical center with a diagnosis of "gunshot wound to the leg", reports Shamshyan.com.
The police found out that on the same day, at around 08:30, while hunting in the area called “Heranos” located in the administrative territory of the village of Verin Dvin, 39-year-old Andranik K., a resident of Ararat region, accidentally fired a shot with a “MR-155” type, 12 mm caliber single-barreled hunting rifle registered in his name at Garik H., causing the aforementioned injury.
Documents were drawn up at the Artashat police department on the facts of the incident, which were transferred to the Ararat Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia.
