Thanks to the operative-investigative measures of the employees of the Lori Regional Department of the Criminal Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, it was revealed that the 25-year-old resident of Vanadzor was engaged in criminal activity while under house arrest.
In particular, being a member of a criminal subculture group, he mediated not to pay a salary to a Russian-based Armenian businessman, a resident of Lori region working in the Russian Federation, and his friends for the fact that he had made an offensive statement addressed to a person with a higher status in the criminal hierarchy.
In addition, the 25-year-old young man, using his subcultural connections, organized “conference meetings” and online meetings via telephone to resolve various, including financial, issues.
The officers of the Crimes Against Human and Property Division of the Lori Regional Department of the Criminal Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs also received factual information that a 25-year-old young man purchased drugs for sale to prisoners of the Vanadzor Penitentiary Institution. He gave the drugs to another person, who placed them in the bathroom of the polyclinic, from where a prisoner brought to the polyclinic for medical purposes was supposed to take the drugs. However, due to circumstances beyond their control, this criminal act did not come to an end.
The authorities are taking measures to identify the identities of other participants in the subcultural online gatherings and the extent of their participation in criminal activity.
