The Czech president does not believe Trump's promises to end the conflict in Ukraine in 24 hours

The President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, believes that ending the conflict in Ukraine in 24 hours, as promised by Donald Trump, is not possible. He announced this at the Prague Defense Summit conference, which was broadcast by the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS).YouTube:with a channel.

"Right now, many countries are waiting for the new administration, hoping that Donald Trump will bring changes, especially after his words about ending the war in 24 hours. I don't think it is possible," the Czech president said.

At the same time, he expressed confidence that the politician who won the US presidential elections will make every effort to stop the conflict and sign an agreement with the Russian President Vladimir Putin.

According to Pavel, a possible agreement between the White House and the Kremlin will not be in the interests of either Europe or Ukraine.

The Telegraph newspaperhad reportedthat Trump's plan to resolve the war involves sending European forces to the buffer zone.
