"The victory of the 1st Artsakh war was wasted. It became the source of some people's enrichment, career growth, personal decline, destruction, and deformation.
We won the war and lost the peace. To the surprise of the world, our victory was, by and large, an orphan. It was privatized by a few.
Others even hated that victory, considering it the reason for their bad life. Thus, our public organism was affected to the point of danger. Our victory was not appreciated, the role of Artsakh in the security system of Armenia was not understood, ideas of handing over Artsakh were made fashionable from outside and inside. That is why the Nikols came to power. We got a war, a defeat.
On November 9, 2020, under the pretense of "we will win" and "the battles for Shushi continue," a tripartite statement was issued, which, to put it mildly, was not the document of our dreams, but which gave the opportunity to keep Artsakh Armenian, to work hard, waiting for the right time. . But alas... The document of November 9 was accepted by the persistent efforts of the Russian President Vladimir Putin himself, against Nikol Pashinyan and especially his foreign masters. The West and Turkey were dissatisfied with the document of November 9, because Russian peacekeepers appeared in Artsakh.
That was the reason why everything was done so that the Russian peacekeepers were pushed out of Artsakh by the hands of Nikol Pashinyan. They were not interested in what would happen to the people of Artsakh. Macron, Michel and Biden were concerned about other issues. Just as in Ukraine they fought against Russia at the cost of the lives of Ukrainians, so in Artsakh they fought against the Russians at the cost of depatriating the people of Artsakh. on October 6, Pashinyan recognized Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan. Before that, he was promoting a false propaganda that, allegedly, this is being done so that the "Zangezur Corridor" is not given and 29,800 of Armenia is secured (now it has become 29,743, not counting the occupied part of more than 200 square kilometers).
In most of the opposition field of Armenia, they were confused by that propaganda attack. The reality is that Nikol Pashinyan, based on his own interests, refuses to fulfill the 9th point of the November 9 statement and threw himself completely into the arms of Turkey, presenting it all as a struggle for sovereignty. Azerbaijan is waiting for an opportune moment to attack Armenia under the pretext of non-fulfillment of Clause 9. By the way, representatives of the opposition field are being questioned on the air of Public Television Company regarding Clause 9. The latter fearfully run away from the question or give incomprehensible bellicose answers, which contributes to the advancement of Nicol's belligerent and losing policy. Now we will dream about the status quo of November 9, 2020.
But in those days Armenia did not have that awareness. The political field of Armenia had to do 2 things: 1. remove Nikol Pashinyan, offering a real peace formula to the Armenian people, 2. get the most out of the document of November 9, being in favor of unblocking communications and Russia's role in this matter. This did not happen, which gave Nikol the opportunity to hypocritically present himself as a dove of peace, and we lost Artsakh. Nikol Pashinyan is the number one culprit and responsible for the loss, but there are other culprits as well.
Now Armenia is facing a new "November 9". The fate of Artsakh threatens us. The whole world is in favor of the opening of Armenia's communications, particularly in the Syunik sector. If so, that communication will be opened. The question is how it will be opened and what will happen to Armenia after that. Azerbaijan is preparing for the opening of these communications through negotiations or war. Nicole is doing everything to make 2020 happen again, so that later she would say that if I opened the communications, they would call me "Nikol, traitor", that's why I didn't open it and we got into a war.
The West wants the so-called middle corridor to be opened, with the logic of pushing Russia out of our region. Turkey is in favor of that scenario, because it will become the number one beneficiary. Nikol is working in that direction. if we want not to fall under the feet of the world's powerful and not to lose Syunik, then we must be in favor of the opening of communications, in particular, the implementation of what was mentioned in point 9 of the 2020 tripartite declaration.
Only then is it possible to ensure the independence and territorial integrity of our country. Nikol Pashinyan has created a propaganda trap and he should not fall into that trap. He shows that he is allegedly fighting for sovereignty and does not want the Russians to control the road that will connect Azerbaijan with Nakhichevan, but his steps lead to Turkey or the West controlling that road, which in practice will lead to to the loss of Syunik, and then to the loss of Armenia. On the ground, only Russia can be the main mediator and guarantor of agreements in Armenian-Azerbaijani relations. Nikol Pashinyan treacherously and conspiratorially in Prague almost completely canceled the statement of November 9, because it stemmed from his personal interests and the goals of foreign owners. The price was 120,000 forcibly displaced Artsakh residents. Until then, RA citizens were preached that this is the price to be paid for the security of 3 million and 29,800.
Now there is no Artsakh, 120,000 people have undergone ethnic cleansing, the villages in Tavush have been "liberated", but there is no peace. Aliyev speaks from "West Azerbaijan", Nikol threatens with war and... brings new losses, new war. And this will not stop, because Nikol has turned on the mechanism of dissolution of Armenia.
It is clear that the solution is in the domestic political field. A change of government is necessary, with a real peace agenda and a clear plan to not turn the region into a theater of war. There is a lot to learn from the Georgian authorities. Armenia should become a country open to communication in the north-south and east-west directions.
It is one of the main guarantees of real peace, independence and development. We should rely on ourselves and do everything to have allies. "Mother Armenia" is the power of the political field, which has a clear point of view on the internal and external policy of our country. We are sure that Armenia will get out of this situation and we will do everything for it."
