Today, August 10, an emergency happened in Vayots Dzor region. Around 4:10 p.m., an alarm was received that a rockfall occurred on Yeghegis-Hermon highway, as a result of which the road was closed in both directions.

As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports, it was found on the spot that in the 1st km section of the Yeghegis-Hermon highway, a rockfall occurred due to heavy rain and the road was completely closed.

Firefighters and patrols removed the stones from the traffic lane and it became trafficable.
