The leader of the Pan-Armenian Front Movement, Major General Arshak Karapetyan addressed Nikol Pashinyan with an open letter, in which it is said:
"On October 24 of this year, a letter was handed over to the government in the name of Nikol Pashinyan on behalf of the HRC and the families of the missing, forcibly abducted and captives. The letter was entered on behalf of an individual Ruzanna Stepanyan.
We would like to inform you that Ruzanna Stepanyan is a member of the HSC. Instead of answering the letter objectively, we received a letter stating that it was forwarded to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Security Service, which are inactive and do not carry out any targeted activities to solve the problem. the biggest proof of which is the lack of results.
The All-Armenian Front Movement, not being satisfied with the activities of both the government and its individual departments, again addresses several demands to you, which you, as the head of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, are obliged to implement in order to protect the protection of the individual legal rights held captive and hostage as a result of your own activities. : And so:
1. Why does the Republic of Armenia not take concrete and public steps on international platforms to raise the issue of captives, missing persons, forcibly abducted persons and solve the issue of their return?
2. Why does the Republic of Armenia not conduct official negotiations with the authorities of Azerbaijan to resolve the issue of prisoners, missing persons, forcibly abducted persons? The explanation that these negotiations are conducted under conditions of secrecy and their progress is not subject to publication might be convincing if they were successful, but now it is clear that it is a simple ploy to put the issue to sleep.
3. How do you treat the Armenian prisoners and abductees in Baku prisons? We have the impression that you personally and your government are not only not interested in the release of that person, but on the contrary, you see them as possible political whippersnappers, and even opponents who can reveal the anti-national face of your government in the conditions of freedom.
To dispel some valid doubts, maybe tell us what exactly you did after December 13, 2023 to return the captives.
4. During the UN summits and meetings with the UN Secretary General, did you discuss the issue of captives, missing persons, forcibly abducted persons?
5. What steps have you taken with the European Union, OSCE and other international structures to use their mediation capabilities to solve the above problems?
6. What lawsuits have been filed in international courts regarding captives, missing persons, forcibly abducted persons?
7. Which international organizations will you turn to for additional support?
We expect a thorough and thorough response on your behalf in the prescribed manner to ensure full awareness among both stakeholders and the public."
