The Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Armenia recognized the invalidation of the registration of three MP candidates at the extraordinary session of May 7.
According to Part 3 of Article 90 of the Constitutional Law "Electoral Code of the Republic of Armenia", candidates for deputy have the right to withdraw their candidacy if they submit an application no later than 10 days before the voting day, until 18:00, as well as after the voting day. The application for self-revocation is notarized, or the candidate confirms his application for self-revocation at the meeting of the Central Electoral Commission.
The CEC received the resignation applications of the deputy candidates Armen Sokrati Pambukhchyan, Armen Alik Grigoryan, included in the electoral list of the "Civil Agreement" party, and Davit Serzhik Petrosyan, the deputy candidate included in the electoral list of the "I'm against everyone" party. The applications were notarized.
