Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with his American counterpart Donald Trump. Assistant to the president for international affairs, Yuri Ushakov, informed the journalists about this.
"There was a telephone conversation between the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, and the President of the United States, Donald Trump. The conversation lasted more than one and a half hours," Ushakov said.
The phone conversation between Russian and US Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump was the 12th since Trump returned to the White House in early 2025. The previous telephone conversation of the leaders took place on March 9.
