The President of Finland, Alexander Stubb, confirmed the delays in American arms deliveries due to the situation in the Middle East.
Earlier, Reuters, citing sources, reported that the US informed European countries about possible delays in arms deliveries due to the need to prioritize military needs in the context of the conflict with Iran.
"We are constantly discussing the supply of defense equipment. It's no secret that some supplies are either diverted or delayed," Stubb said during a press conference with Estonian President Alar Karis in Helsinki.
Finland's president did not specify which weapons it was referring to, but said he saw no reason for Finland to be concerned about delays in deliveries.
