"Fact" daily writes:
Nikol Pashinyan clearly sees and understands better than anyone that his campaign against the Armenian Apostolic Church has failed in all aspects. More precisely, the people stood firmly behind their Church.
This is proved by the existing facts and realities. Even the data of "pro-government" surveys document the great authority of the Armenian Apostolic Church and the people's trust in the Church. It is higher than all, moreover, it is getting higher and higher.
The fact that Pashinyan's anti-church war has failed, at least at this stage, is also documented by the pronounced passivity of the bishops. Their voices are not even heard. Everyone has found a "shelter". let's hope they at least repent.
But Pashinyan, as it is said, would not be Pashinyan if he accepted all this, not a bad thing, not doing something special to him. In particular, a session of the Supreme Spiritual Council was scheduled yesterday at the Mother See. And here, the Investigative Committee, one can say, deliberately and with that intention, urgently invited the lay members of the Council to the Central Committee... for questioning.
According to that, they caused an obstacle to the holding of the session of the Supreme Spiritual Council. Yesterday, too, the Investigative Committee tried to purposefully overturn the session of the Supreme Spiritual Council with the same scheme. this time, the clergy members of the council were again called for questioning allegedly under the name of "urgent investigative actions". The spiritual fathers, however, refused to go to the interrogation, stating that the CC is obliged to send a summons.
Later, the summons was sent electronically, but the session of the Supreme Spiritual Council was held anyway. By the way, the Central Committee serving Pashinyan's interests and whims is again inviting people who have already refused to testify once, and were obviously going to refuse again, for questioning.
So, it is obvious to all reasonable people that in fact the only purpose of the CC's actions is to obstruct the session of the Supreme Spiritual Council. On the other hand, the same question keeps coming up. well, do those who do the government's cheap assignments think that this government is eternal, and they will never, ever go out into the world?
They will come, but with what face? What will they say that "they were taking bread money?" Does that bread go down?
