NATO fighter jets will perform training flights in Estonia

The combat planes of the NATO member states will make sports flights in the airspace of Estonia on February 9-15, reports the ERR TV and Radio Company.

"This week, allied (NATO) fighter jets will perform a number of exercise flights, including at low altitudes, in the airspace of Estonia," the website of the television and radio company states.

It is further noted that supersonic flights may also be carried out during the February 9-15 military exercises. NATO's mission to protect the Baltic airspace has been in place since 2004, when Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia joined the alliance.
