"About 163 billion drams will be allocated to the Ministry of Health in the 2025 budget, which is 5.3 billion drams less than the amount provided for in the 2024 budget," Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan said during the discussion of the state budget in the National Assembly, noting that it is 3.1%. .

According to the minister's presentation, there is a 3.5% decrease in current expenses and an increase of 1.8%, 216 million drams in capital expenses.
Answering the predicted questions, Vahe Hovhannisyan answered them by stating.

"In the budget of 2024, money was planned for the introduction of comprehensive health insurance, which should be spent in the case of the introduction of the system. If we do not take this money into account, then the budget of 2025 has increased by 12.7 billion drams compared to 2024."

He explained that 18 billion drams were allocated for insurance in 2024 and it was not spent, therefore he is deducting it from the 2024 budget.
