Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei blamed US President Donald Trump for the death of protesters.
The Islamic Republic's spiritual leader has claimed that the United States' goal is to "absorb Iran."
"We hold the president of the United States guilty for both the victims, the damage, and the slander he spread against the Iranian people," Ali Khamenei said during his speech.
The people of Iran "broke the back of the uprising", the Supreme Leader declared. He added that the authorities of the Islamic Republic "will not leave alone the domestic and international criminals who organized this uprising".
