The human rights defender's working visit to Syunik marz continues. On May 24, Anahit Manasyan met with Syunik Marz Governor Robert Ghukasyan, discussed various agenda issues in the field of human rights protection, in particular, a number of security issues of people in border settlements related to property rights, education, as well as other fundamental rights. This is reported by the HRD staff. Individual complaints raised by citizens were also discussed together. The defender of human rights specially emphasized that along with guaranteeing the security of the state, the guarantee of respect for human rights and the fundamental principle of supremacy of human rights should be paramount. Anahit Manasyan expressed his commitment to solve the discussed issues within the framework of the mandate. Afterwards, Anahit Manasyan, together with the governor of the region, Robert Ghukasyan, and MP Marine Ghazaryan, visited the secondary schools of Syunik and Achanan on the border to participate in the ceremony of the Last Call. Congratulating the graduates, in his speech the Defense Minister wished them never to be depressed, to be constantly educated, and to treat their environment with love. "You can face many challenges in life, never get discouraged, see them as opportunities and treat the environment around you with love. Also remember that knowledge is the great wealth that cannot be lost. Be sure, realizing all this will open new doors of success for you. I also say this with my own example. Perhaps this is my wish for you. I also want to express my commitment to support you in any matter within the scope of my mandate," Anahit Manasyan.  Anahit Manasyan also met with the management and teaching staff of 2 schools, toured the schools, discussed a number of issues related to the protection of children's rights.  The defender also handed over symbolic souvenirs to the graduates.
