Earlier in Berlin, in the office of the Federal Chancellery of Germany, a meeting of the American and Ukrainian delegations was held regarding the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine.
The US delegation included the President's Special Envoy Steven Wittkoff and the son-in-law of US President Donald Trump, businessman Jared Kushner. On the Ukrainian side, Vladimir Zelensky, Secretary of the Security Council Rustem Umerov and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andriy Khnatov participated.
German Chancellor Friedrich Mertz left the meeting hall after a short speech of welcome.
