The international community should strongly support the Gaza peace process, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at the "International Forum for Peace and Trust" in Ashgabat.
"In Gaza, we have witnessed some of the worst massacres of the last century. Ensuring a ceasefire in Gaza and delivering humanitarian aid to those in need are among our top priorities.
The cease-fire in Gaza remains fragile. Therefore, the international community should strongly support this process, and this support should continue," Erdogan said.
He advocated the participation of the Palestinian people in all stages of the peace process.
"The ultimate goal is a two-state solution to the Palestinian problem. It is time for the international community to fulfill its obligations towards the Palestinian people," the Turkish president said.
