On the evening of November 29, a fire broke out in the Zangezur copper-molybdenum combine. One of the non-operational, as well as in the stage of demolition and dismantling of the infrastructure, burned down. ZPMK informs that the fire lasted for about 50 minutes. around 19:50 it was isolated, and about 20 minutes later it was completely extinguished. The extinguishing works were carried out by the forces of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the fire fighting technical means of the Fire Rescue Service were also involved in the work.
No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
The cause is still unknown and an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances.
