"Pashinyan was very dissatisfied with the consequences of Narek Karapetyan's interview with Tucker Carlson. To remind: yesterday we learned that Trump Jr. canceled his visit to Armenia on November 12, and it is not excluded that that interview played a role, the information about the persecution against the Church prevented him from visiting Armenia.
Pashinyan believes that after that interview a negative impression was created about him in the USA, so he instructed Nazeli Baghdasaryan and Ararat Mirzoyan to organize a rematch-interview with the famous Time magazine journalist Simon Shuster.
He wants to convince the international community that his fight against the opposition is legitimate and has decided to present facts on the American platform about how the opposition and the representatives of the Church tried to seize power this summer by using force. He thinks that this will increase his reputation in the eyes of the Armenian public. He said that they should not be afraid of financial costs and organize the interview. Simon Shuster has interviewed Navalny, Zelensky, even Lukashenko in the past."
