We are starting the parliamentary discussions of the RA 2025 state budget project, and I want to start these discussions from a point of view of the perception of the state budget, which we discussed in parts, but we never had the opportunity to discuss systematically. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this during the preliminary discussion of the draft law on the state budget for 2025 in the National Assembly.
"In order to start this discussion, I must refer to several conceptual slogans, the first of which is: "Armenia is my hearth, the people are my family". The second formula is: "get rich and get richer", the third formula: "The future of Armenia depends on one person and that one person is you", the fourth formula is: "the motherland is the state, you love your motherland, strengthen your state", the fifth one is "here is a state, here is bread, here is the motherland, here is accommodation." I want to put all these resolutions in the conceptual framework of real Armenia and start the budget discussions from that point of view, with the understanding that what needs to be said refers not only to the state budget of 2025, but also to the concept of the state budget of Armenia in general," said the Prime Minister.
Continuing his speech, Nikol Pashinyan said:
"The state budget of the Republic of Armenia is the big family budget of all of us, every citizen of the Republic of Armenia. There are different budgets in the country: municipal budgets that form communities with councils of elders, budgets of private organizations, there are also family budgets. I don't think there are many families in Armenia who calculate and plan their annual income in advance, but if there are no budget calculation packages in our families, it does not mean that there are no family budgets. Armenia is my home, the people are my family, conceptually, the RA budget is the budget of our collective family, because it is formed as a result of the work and activities of all of us, citizens and residents living and working in RA," said the Prime Minister.
