Today, on November 10, a major car accident took place in Kotayk region. Around 1:00 p.m., Mazda cars driven by 33-year-old Artur H., a resident of Kotayk marz, and Ford cars, driven by Andranik H., a 35-year-old resident of Ararat marz, collided on the 2nd km section of the Yeghvard-Nor Geghi highway.
As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports from the scene, fortunately, according to preliminary information, there were no casualties as a result of the accident.
The drivers underwent a sobriety test and were sober.
As a result of the collision, the "Mazda" left the traffic lane, collided with a concrete electric pole on the roadside and broke it. As a result of the power pole breaking, another concrete power pole was also damaged.
