The total number of US troops in Europe remains unchanged, despite the recent withdrawal of some US troops from Romania. This was announced by US President Donald Trump while answering reporters' questions at the beginning of the meeting with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán at the White House.
"We are making changes. We are moving the troops. However, we are talking about the same numbers, they remain unchanged," said the American leader, commenting on the withdrawal of American troops from Romania.
For his part, US military minister Pete Hegsett assured that "there is nothing that has not been agreed with the White House".
