By the decision of the Government of RA, a temporary ban on transportation to EEA member states and export to third countries was established


At the session of May 23, the Government of the Republic of Armenia made a decision on the transfer to the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union and the establishment of a temporary ban on exports to third countries. According to Armenpress, the adoption of the decision is due to regulating the export of used goods made of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, developing local production. and with the need to provide a raw material base, as well as to stimulate the activity of Armenia's processing industry through new investments. The purpose of the decision is to provide and economically use the metal raw material base, develop local production, replace imports, which will contribute to the regulation of the export process of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and create conditions for domestic to supply the local market with competitive metal products and produce products with the highest added value.
