Chairman of the State Revenue Committee Rustam Badasyan hosted EU Ambassador to Armenia Vasilis Maragos and his delegation at the Margara checkpoint. The head of the committee and the ambassador made a joint tour of the checkpoint area.
RA SRC informs that the entire infrastructure of the checkpoint, the order of application and organization of procedures was presented. It was emphasized that the state border control at the Margara customs point, like at other checkpoints in Armenia, is planned to be carried out based on the principle of complex border management, with a "one-window" system. The main construction works of the checkpoint were carried out in a short period of time, about six months, and the capital renovation was completely completed. . A comfortable service hall, an in-depth inspection hangar, cargo handling booths and a warehouse, parking lots, a well-maintained square and other infrastructures in line with international standards, equipped with modern technical equipment, were built here. in the course of the implementation of agreements already reached in the tax and customs spheres within the framework of cooperation. The EU ambassador expressed his satisfaction with the works carried out at the checkpoint.
