Emergency case: Kotayk region. A fire broke out in a moving "Mercedes" in Proshyan village


Today, November 4, an emergency happened in Kotayk marz. Around 6:30 p.m., the National Center for 9-11 Crisis Management of the Rescue Service of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs received an alert that a car was on fire in the administrative area of ​​the Proshyan settlement.


As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports from the scene, before the arrival of 1 combat unit from the 7th fire-rescue squad of Yerevan, they prevented the spread of the fire in the engine compartment of the "Mercedes" brand, then extinguished the "Mercedes" driver, citizens, mainly a truck driver and patrols of the 1st platoon of the 2nd company of the Kotayk Marz battalion of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs Police.


According to preliminary information, fortunately there were no casualties.
Arriving firefighters performed cooling operations.


The patrol service finds out the identity of the car owner and the driver.


Surik Janikyan, head of the Nairi Department of the Community Police Department of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs, arrived at the scene of the incident.

 

In the conversation with the photojournalist, the driver said that he was driving the car when he noticed fire and smoke, stopped immediately and prevented the fire from spreading with the help of citizens and patrols.
