Changes have been made to the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs

Making access to information a priority for the public, changes have been made to the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The Police, Immigration and Citizenship Service and Rescue Service subsections of the Services section have been updated. They were replaced by sub-departments of Permits and Licenses, Registration-Examination and Migration and Citizenship Service.

Khachatur Igityan, head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' service delivery quality control department, notes: "In order to provide maximum access to information about the services provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a new "Services" section has been added to the official website of the Ministry, which enables citizens to specify the service they need, download the description, and get full information about the given service."

And so, if a person, for example, wants to get acquainted with the procedure for issuing a passport of an RA citizen, he should enter the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, then select the sub-section "Migration and citizenship service" from the "Services" section, and select "Issuance of an RA citizen's passport" from the opened window. By downloading it, the citizen receives all the necessary information related to the subject, arranged by sections, which also includes the list of documents that the person must submit to receive the given service.

According to Khachatur Igityan, this will enable citizens to avoid repeated visits to service-providing units, as well as save time.

In case of urgent problems related to the provision of services, citizens can contact the Service Quality Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs at 011-21-21-02.
