Poland has bought accurate bombs for fighters from the United States

Poland bought accurate bombs for F-35 fighters from the United States, Defense24 reports.

In 2020, Poland ordered 32 F-35A fighter for Block 4 configuration from the United States, a total of about $ 4.6 billion. Supplies are planned to be completed in 2030.

"The armamental agency signed an intergovernmental agreement with the United States on the supply of small SDB-type managed bombs, mainly for the Polish F-35A," the statement said.

According to the publication, the contract costs $ 120 million, and supplies will be provided until 2028.

It is noted that in addition to F-35, these bombs can be used by F-16 and FA-50 fighters in the Polish Air Force service.

The number of bombs purchased by Poland is not mentioned, but it is noted that the cost of one unit in 2025 is estimated at about $ 80,000.
