The new large-scale study has combined the results of 46 scientific articles dedicated to the development of acetaminophen fruit. More than half of them have shown a statistically significant link between its use and attention deficit and hyperactivity disease and the possibility of diseases such as autism. Moreover, the most reliable research, the use of biomarkers and children's long observation, has given the most difficult signal of risk.
Scientists say that the medicine is easily passed through the company and can affect hormonal regulation, immune processes and oxidative stress mechanisms, which makes it potentially dangerous for the developing brain. Ties with UDC are especially remarkable. Of the 20 studies, 14 have discovered a growing level of diagnosis in children whose mothers have taken paracetaml during pregnancy. Five of the eight studies have discovered similar connection to autism. In some cases there was a dose-reaction contact. The more often the drug has been used, the greater the risk.
Researchers plan larger, more detailed studies, which will include groups of different patients, a drug and child's brain development. The purpose of future studies is not only to establish or deny this risk, but also finding more secure ways to treat pain and heat treatment.
