Scientists have revealed the growing danger of a common diet

The so-called "carnivorous" diet is popular on social networks. It implies a complete renunciation of plant food, meat and animal fats. Supporters claim that such a diet removes diseases and overweight, but the scientists from the Polytechnic University of Perm have warned that such a tribulation can lead to serious health. The press service of the educational institution informed Gazeta.ru about this.

The idea of "Mileahar Diet" originated after the book "Mileahar Diet" (2018) in the United States. Today, the fashion of a meat diet reached Russia. Its rule is one of any vegetables, fruits, grains or beans, only meat, fish, eggs, butter and other animal fats.

"Refusal of plant food leads to the deficiency of vitamins and minerals, and the lack of fibers undermine the salt work and weakens the immune system. "The shortage of carbohydration threatens hypoglyculated, with brain function and systemic disorders," explained the Senior Researcher at the Department of Chemistry and Biotechnology of the PNPU, Philosophy. Valeri Litvinov.

"The use of raw meats is a separate risk," Larisa Volkova, Professor of the Chair of Environment to Protect the Protection of the PNPU. "It can contain parasites, bacteria and toxins. In addition, too much use of saturated fats, such as butter, increases the likelihood of cardiovascular disease. "

According to experts, long-term follow-up to such a diet is fraught not only with liver, kidney and pancreas, but also by deteriorating skin, hair, nail, and increased heart attack.

"Every tenth heart attack is connected with the unbalanced diet that excludes plant food," Wolkova said.

Scientists reminded that any radical change in the diet is allowed only under the supervision of a doctor. Otherwise, the fashion "carnivorous food" can lead to serious problems, anemia and poisoning to cardiovascular disasters.
