India will start its 79th Independence Day celebrations on Friday at the historic Mogilous Castle of New Delhi in the Human Ceremony of the Honorary Guard, with a flag, and the Prime Minister's speech.
This year, the coordinating body of the event is the Indian Air Force. The program includes a guard of honor, a shooting and a special flight from 21 cannons.
As soon as the Red Fortress arrives, the Prime Minister of India Rajnat Singh and Deputy Ministers Sanjay Seth and Rajesh Kumar Singh.
The Prime Minister, accompanied by the Commander-in-Chief of Delhi region, will then visit the guard of the Honor, which will consist of 96 servicemen.
