Indonesia will send 800 tons of humanitarian aid to Palestine

The Indonesian authorities will send 800 tons of humanitarian aid to support the Palestinian people in critical condition, said Nur Ahmad, head of the Indonesian National Relief Agency.

"We have prepared 800 tons of assistance, which will be aired by the National Armed Forces of Indonesia, cooperating with the Air Force of Jordan and Egypt," Antara news agency quotes its words.

According to the head of the department, the first batch of 80 tons of cargo to the Palestinian people will be handed over on August 17, and the rest later.

On August 7, the Spokesman for the President of Indonesia Hasan Nasbi stated that the authorities of the Asian country are ready to send peacekeepers and help humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
