State Duma has called for banning sweets with alcohol imitating


Tatiana Boomkaya, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Family, sent a letter to Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova, asking to assess and develop legislative changes on the sale of candies in alcoholic packaging. This was reported by TASS, citing the document.

According to the parliamentarian, he received a resident of the Moscow region that candies filled with dark beer are sold in the store chain, whose packaging is stylized in the form of a beer container. The Bucus noted that the sale of candies in such packaging contradicts the law on consumer protection.

The MP added that sales of such goods can cause positive associations to children with alcohol.

Earlier, Pavel Cruvniknik, a deputy of St. Petersburg, said that energy drinks in Russian stores should be sold separately from ordinary carbonated drinks, as it will emphasize that it will be dangerous for their health.
