The EU is preparing to impose sanctions on China for supposedly supporting Ukraine's conflict, Politico reports, citing the European diplomat.
"Brussels is going to impose sanctions on China for its role in supporting the conflict in Ukraine," the statement said.
The EU diplomat said in the publication that Brussels would try to impose sanctions after August.
Earlier, China's Minister of Foreign Affairs Van Venta had seriously reprimanded the European Commissioner for Manyos Shevchovich to make measures against Chinese financial institutions in the last sanctions against Russia.
