Russian President Vladimir Putin and King Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa al-Khalifa had a telephone conversation, the Kremlin's press service reported.
"A telephone conversation took place between Russian President Vladimir Putin and King Hamad Bean Isa Al Khalifa. The heads of state exchanged views on the results of the 28th International Economic Forum of St. Petersburg, which took place on June 18-21, which took part in the guest country, "the statement said.
Putin noted the active and effective work of the Bahraini delegation, which was headed by the representative of the King of Bahrain, the National Security Adviser Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
The King of Bahrain, in his turn, thanked the Russian side for the hospitality, the press service reported. The leaders also confirmed their mutual commitment, the further development of Russian-Bahiraric mutually beneficial cooperation in trade, financial, investment, as well as in cultural and humanitarian spheres.
