The EU Foreign Ministers will hold an informal council on June 17 to discuss the situation in the Middle East, in connection with the conflict between Israel and Iran.
This was stated by the Speaker of the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaya Callas Speaker Al-Name.
"Taking into account the seriousness of the situation in the Middle East, Kaya Kahlas, the High Representative of the EU, plans to be a video conference with foreign ministers. This will allow the exchange of views, simultaneously coordinate diplomatic actions against Tehran and Tel Aviv and discuss how to deal with it, "the speaker said in a briefing in Brussels on Monday.
According to him, the European Union is in favor of discharge and regional security and will continue to do everything possible to weaken tensions through diplomatic means and to find a solution to Iran's nuclear program.
"This can only be achieved through negotiations," he said.
